Huge performance improvements of EasyDNNrotator module
In times of responsive websites, visitors access websites with different devices and with different screen sizes. Let's take for an example a desktop computer whose screen width is 1920px and some mobile device whose screen width is 750px. It is clear that an image of 1920px width is too big for screening on a mobile device so it will be reduced. Although it will look good, the problem is that such an image has much more kb what makes loading of pages longer than necessary. The new version of the EasyDNNrotator module solves this problem.
During the adjusting of display, images of different dimensions of the same image are generated. When the visitor opens a website with the rotator module, the screen dimension is detected and by those dimensions the image is displayed in the most optimal dimensions for those screen size. This means significantly faster loading of webpages on mobile devices and also a better user experience because mobile devices don't have to deal with too big images.
The second improvement in performances refers to the popular Chameleon rotator – one of the most popular displays in EasyDNNrotator. In the previous module versions, Chameleon had to load all images when pages were loading. Since the version 7.7 images are loading in the background, so the speed of opening pages is significantly improved.
