How to simplify the interface for adding articles in EasyDNNnews

The standard interface for adding articles in EasyDNNnews module provides a wide range of options and possibilities. Yet, what to do when you want to simplify the interface for certain users or disable using certain functionalities? EasyDNNnews allows for the interface to be adjusted to DNN roles. Thus, it is possible for users in one role to have available all the possibilities that the interface for adding and editing articles provides, whereas users from another role can be denied certain options.

The interface for adding and editing articles can be adjusted in EasyDNNnews > Settings > 1 Permissions.

In the table where all the other permissions are set up, there is also the column „Permissions for add/edit form fields“. If a certain DNN role has permission to add articles, it is possible to click on "Select fields" in this column, which opens up a pop-up window where it is possible to determine which fields and which options the users of that role will be able to use.

After tweaking the settings, they need to be saved by clicking on the button "Save settings" or "Save & Close", at the bottom of settings page.
