As we mentioned in the introduction, sending newsletters with articles can be completely automated, so newly published articles are sent to users on a daily, weekly or monthly basis. Of course, a newsletter is sent only when there are new articles. The option of creating automated campaigns in the module is called EasyDNN News Automated Campaign.

The second option is the manual selection and sending of articles. Although it may sound complicated, it is actually a simple task where all you need to do is select the articles that you want to send to your subscribers. The manual option is called EasyDNN News Manual Campaign.

EasyDNN News Automated Campaigns

Once you have set up an automated campaign, newsletters with new articles will be automatically generated and sent to your subscribers. The module enables you to configure which articles will be sent and when. The newsletter can be sent every day, every week or every month. There are other adjustments available, such as selecting a specific day in a month or a day of the week when the newsletter will be sent. It is also possible to set the time when a newsletter will be sent. If you're worried about which articles will be sent because you don’t want to send all articles, it is possible to select a category in the EasyDNN News module from which you want to send the articles.

To create an EasyDNN News Automated Campaign, add the module on a page. Click on Dashboard. In Dashboard select Campaigns. Click on the Create button to start a new campaign. Sending Newsletters to Registered DNN Users

It’s common practice that users subscribe via sign-up forms. They become subscribers and you can send them newsletters. There are also users that have registered on your site that you would like to send newsletters to as well. This is possible as one of the functions of the EasyDNN MailChimp Plus module is to make it possible to sync DNN users with MailChimp lists. Find out more about the EasyDNN Mail Chimp Plus module in this blog post that provides information on all general functions.

Important notice: If you are using an old version of our EasyDNN MailChimp module (versions from 1.0 to 3.9.6), please upgrade to our brand new module – EasyDNN MailChimp Plus. MailChimp has retired old versions of its API, so the old module does not work any longer or it will stop working very soon. EasyDNN MailChimp Plus uses the new API and it will provide you with uninterrupted service.
